Women For Stem India

Episode 5 of clarity: A women in STEM talk session by Canaries – Nessima kaabeche

In our interview with Nessima Kaabeche, a pioneer in the field of mentoring women in STEM, we learned a tonne. She provided three crucial pointers: 1. Know your worth and assert it. 2. Know the market 3. Don’t settle. You can defend yourself and prove your value to others if you are aware of your worth, who you are, what you are capable of, and what makes you different from others. Her goal is to foster women’s independence while ensuring that they receive the best possible care, encouragement, and professional success. She explained to us that by establishing peer groups that enable people to express their opinions and essentially broaden our networks, students like us can assist women in STEM. We can move forward more quickly together than we can on our own, she said.

Take care of yourself, she said in response to the question of what the most significant lesson she had yet to learn was. No matter how hard you work, how demanding your management is, how much you want to succeed, or anything else, you always come first. You must take precedence. You must take all necessary steps to maintain your physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
