Thank you so much ma’am! Honey Yadav
In our session with researcher Honey Yadav we learned tons. She shared her insights on the challenges and opportunities for women in STEM, and explained that, while women have made progress in the field, they still face significant barriers: a lack of representation and unconscious bias. She emphasized the importance of mentorship and networking to help youngsters advance their careers and overcome these challenges.
Ms Yadav also discussed the need for greater diversity and inclusion in STEM, noting that it can lead to better outcomes and innovation. She helped us clear our doubts about a life in STEM and gave us more insight on her into the field of research and technology. We also learnt more about Ms Yadav’s selfless contributions to the well-being of our society, and were inspired to continue our community work with new found motivation.
Despite the challenges, Yadav remains optimistic about the future of women in STEM. She believes that with continued effort and support, more women will be able to break through the barriers and contribute to the field. She encourages young women to pursue their passions and not be discouraged by the obstacles they may face.
Overall, Ms Yadav shed light on the ongoing struggle for gender equity in STEM, while also highlighting the potential for positive change through education, mentorship, and advocacy.
The knowledge ma’am gave us is worth more than the stars, and when a physics lover says that, you know how truly important it is.
